This major upgrade adds many advanced text-handling tools including the ability to convert Type 1 fonts to outline fonts. You don't have to use text boxes any more, and text blocks can now be longer than 256 characters. This version also makes it easy to create great-looking graphs.

Until FreeHand 3.0 arrives to even the score, Adobe Illustrator 3.0 is. once again, the top drawing program for the Mac. Highly recommended.
