BBSs, modems, and the idea of exploring a remote computer system thrill most young people learning about computers, and Logo Express provides a nonthreatening way to experience and experiment with telecommunications. The ready-to-go pages that are included get them started but are easily modified to encourage experimentation. Introduce your kids to Logo Express, and they may not let you use your computer for weeks.
