ASCII WordStar Files On The IBM

"IBM Personalized Form Letters" in the December 1984 issue of COMPUTE! implied that WordStar is not capable of generating the necessary ASCII files required by the program. WordStar can easily generate ASCII files in the nondocument mode.

You're right; although conventional WordStar files are not saved in ASCII form, as stated in the article, you can create ASCII files in the nondocument mode. These files will be compatible with the "IBM Personalized Form Letters" program.
